Good questions: there are several narrow gauge (3’) tourist railroads in Colorado that allow historic railcars during "rail fests" (special events for nuts like myself that enjoy steam railroading), NORCOA sanctioned runs (North America Rail Car Operators Association), and the Colorado Railroad...

Thank you for the dimensions - they will help immensely. Our work session this weekend was a success. We were able to weld up all the various holes not related to our needs, remove the rear cross member, finish fabrication/modifications to our late teens rear cross member needing to be fitted...

Thanks for the photos - especially the views of the rear cross member. I've seen the T railcar(s) at the Sierra Railway Museum in Jamestown, CA - they did a nice job on those. I took quite a few photos when I visited them this past summer. I've also been talking to Jeff at the Hawaii Railroad...

I feel the same about the steering column not looking quite right without a wheel; however I'm trying to stay faithful to the prototype. My main concern about the steering column is if the railcar stops suddenly I might get impaled. Nice Porter loco photo.

Thank you for the early frame drawing - that will prove most useful. I’ll go ahead with the 27 frame, and cross reference it with the early frame drawing and original parts I have. The rear cross member will be cut off this weekend and welded in its new location. Since the original railcar...

I have a nice complete 1930,31 rear end with drive shaft, radius rods, and a pair of 19" wheels for sale - sold as a complete unit. I'm asking $175. Please call if you are interested - 719-575-0269

I thought as much. However I should give a little more background on what we are doing. We are re-creating a 1911 narrow gauge railcar. Since the wheelbase on this railcar was changed from the standard car to a 5'-4" wheel base the rear cross member needs to be cut out and moved forward 18"...

I have a very nice 1927 frame I'm considering using for a recreation of a 1911 T. Without going into originality issues I would like to ask if I am asking for problems when installing mechanical items. Is a 1927 frame the same basic dimension as an early one? Thank you everyone for your time and...

I'm looking for one rear 1911 rear radius rod with the cast eyelets. I'm also looking for a set of nice original single ear hood latches. Please call me if you can help. Thank you. Lowell Ross 719-575-0269

I have an un-restored 1926 TT C-cab with the rare Ford steel pickup style express bed. The truck is 100% complete. Ruckstell two speed rear end. Engine has great compression and should run with little effort. The wheels all have nice tight wood spokes. 80% of the original paint still on the...

Hello, I'm looking for a 1935 Ford pickup to use as a daily driver. I'm not looking for a builder but one that is ready to go, or at lease close to going. Preferably one with original patina. If you have one or know of one please call or email. Thank you, Lowell 719-575-0269

I'm looking for a set of 20" rear TT ton truck rear wheels. Would like a solid set. Thank you, Lowell Please call or email direct: Lross@pcisys.net or 719-575-0269

I recently bought another TT truck with the express bed and wish to install a hand crank tilt bed mechanism I have. My question to the group: does anybody have photos of a tilt bed attached to the Ford steel express bed or other bed? I've attached a photo of my mechanism, if you know of any...

I'm looking to buy a set of good front wood spoke wheels and demountable rims for a 1926 TT truck. I have a set of wire wheels I'm removing from the truck and going back to the original wood style. If you have a set or know of some please email or call. Thank you. Lowell Lross@pcisys.net or...

I'm looking for a nice original pickup to use as a daily driver. I'm not looking for a show queen nor a major fixer-upper rust bucket, just a nice original pickup. If the one you have needs a little TLC that’s great. If you have one or know of one available please call me. Thank you Ross...

If only these vintage wreckers could tell a story. I've attached some photos of my 1927 TT with a Weaver hand crank wrecker - this one is an unrestored survivor. Thanks, Lowell Woodland Park, Colorado

I'm looking for parts for a Weaver Auto Ambulance. I need the cradle that would support a front axle, I have the wheels and cross member. Any help would be very much appreciated. If I can't find one I'll have to fabricate the parts, but let’s see what's out there first. Call me at 719-575-0269...
