Seems to be fixed...for now.... I removed the screws that hold the emblem in the center of the horn ring.The rubber, two piece "donut" was removed and turned it around so the top piece was now the bottom piece. No doubt the rubber piece will eventually need to be replaced. I'll take luck over...

When turning a corner the horn blows! I replaced the entire horn wire through the shaft. Determined that the relay is not doing it. How is that damn switch getting ground?:confused:

I tried a puller and reached a point that if I pulled a little harder it would either come off or shatter. Trusting my instinct.. I quit and put it back together, I'll let someone else try if they want to! Thanks for all the help.. FORD BARN to the rescue!

Yep, The top has early clamps and late weather striping.. Probably parts accumulated fro other cars and sources.. As long as it works. it's not a show car. Now to figure out how to lift it enough to change the weather striping..

It looks like i have all the screws out. i have turned the ribbed sleeve off towards the dash and I think the turn signal housing is just stuck on the bare steel tube. i may have to make some kind of puller that will distribute the pressure.

Standard shift. I have new chrome parts to install. Got the wheel,turn signal switch and mechanism off. Now how to get outer jacket parts off. ??:confused: I don't want to bust anything.

I found the Peacock blue! I removed the horn ring to find out why it was blowing the horn on left turns and low and behold.. the wheel had been painted.
