I drained both transmission and rear differential in separate clean pans. Differential looks good but transmission lube has silver cast. Put magnet in both but could not pick anything up. No chunks visible. ANY THOUGHTS!

2000 miles on complete rebuild of transmission. Started with a slight vibration only upon deceleration in second gear only. After about another 100 miles started making light clunking noise and whine in second gear only. Great shifting and no noise under acceleration in any gear. Looking for...

Ok guys a few more suggestions would be helpful. I am now at #65 PV and #43 jets. Runs much better but after about 120 miles on a new set of plugs they still look like I am to rich. Should I try another set of smaller jets? different Power valves? Thanks in advance!

I got about 100 miles on my 8ba flat motor. It acts unpredictable. It can idol and temp stays at 185 on a 95 degree day. Drive down the road 2200 rpm stays @185. after about 10 miles same rpm climbs to 195 - 205 and fluctuates. every thing is new and belts are correctly tightened. Ideas?

I got mine from Brattons and the wheel well was ok but the lower quarter was a near miss. I had probably 10 hours per side and still not very happy. It would have been easier to start from scratch. If I had it to do over I would buy an entire Brookville quarter and use it. IMO

Update!!! I woke up this morning and realized that I did not check the very basics. Pulled the hub cap and saw metallic dust. I got to checking and it appears the wheel is loose. I have not finished inspection but I think the wheel may have worn lug holes so it is not seating correctly. It...
