1932 3W Garnish Molding Bumper Pads

On an original steel garnish molding at the bottom of the window opening on the flange that faces the glass there are two or three slots about 3/16 high by 1" long. The bumpers go in the slots and are there to provide anti-rattle against the glass. Stock Ford did not have any fuzzy or wiper at...

    34 Pickup Rear Spreader Bar

A side note on Cool33's fender to bed fitting. It is NORMAL, note the mismatch and overlap by the fender to the bead on the bed. The way Ford pickups are 1932-1937.

    montana body shop

Try Dan Sloat 5915 Johnson Rd East Helena MT 59635 406-475-4230 I have not seen his work, however I have sold parts to him for several cars over the years and he seems to have a good reputation with other customers I had in his area.

    34 Pickup Rear Spreader Bar

Remember, original Ford 1934 pickup DID NOT HAVE A REAR BUMPER. Any assumptions of where a bumper bracket might mount are moot. Whatever you do for a bracket it will be CUSTOM. My suggestions is you use the stock rear spreader for bed support, then make your custom brackets to mount to the...

    My dad's V8-60 Bantam project

    My dad's V8-60 Bantam project

After my dad got out of the Navy, he had a Bantam... and a lead foot... and blew up the Bantam motor. So he started a project of putting a V8-60 in it. Never finished, of course. Note the attempt to make a side floor shift with a side shift transmission. The 60 (its a tin side) was supposedly...

    35-36 Pickup/Truck Cardboard Interior Panels

Look for someone with a very large format 3D printer. Should be able to re-create the pattern ok, with an ultra-fine nozzle and detail each part should only take a month or two to print. OK a bit sarcastic, but may be practical in a couple of years.

32 right side tail light bracket

Someone who really knows please step in and correct anything if needed. IIRC in various threads about this subject, Ford (USA) never made a RH taillight bracket. LH only. The stock rumble step bracket is not compatible with a mirror image of the LH bracket. There were many period aftermarket...

    32 Cabriolet rumble lid hinges

Not reproduced to my knowledge. With a sample, reproductions could happen. They would be in the 300.00 to 500.00 pair range though.

    Update on Wescotts

We had a very successful sale over labor day weekend. LOTS of original parts found new homes. Much of the resale parts were sold at discount, the remainder is going to a local fellow who should have a busy swamp meet stall for years to come. The molds have been SOLD! Likely next spring before...

    Brads Woodshop FOR SALE

As "uncle buck" noted... its moveable. There are only a few specialized tools that are involved in the sale. Mostly fixtures and patterns. Your guy would need a full wood shop (you wouldn't happen to know of a building thats underutilized that could be rented out?) and marketing/sales help...

    Really????

Wick, the car is a labor of love! 67, that nothing. Old is when you stop leaning something new. Go for it... learn bodywork and metal finishing. If you can find 1970's and 1980's "Rod Action" Tex Smith wrote some excellent articles on "down and dirty" metal repar. Ron Covel...

Ford 3 window coupe door window felts

There are two, possibly three different window felt arrangements used 1935-36. The earliest 1935's had some strange bottom glass channels and may have had a different felt system. Most 1935 and 1936 window felt arrangements are determined by the location of the inside door handle mount, those...

1934 5 window coupe door glass channels

United Pacific makes reproductions of the 1934 but are longer to fit the 3 Window/Tudor. Simply cut the end to length. I think they have 1933's also, or you can cut down their 1932 Tudor ones.

    Door handle remote spring

Heat the tabs red hot, then lightly hammer to anneal. That seems to be the trick to keep them from breaking.
