Sorry I just went out and looked again and it is 7 digits I misread it earlier..

I have a 31 model a coupe and the engine has a 8 digit number on it, looking online it looks like it should only have 7 digits.. It has a mark before and after the number and It starts with an A then 8 numbers, When looking up the Vin do I just drop the last number off?

So if I end up getting this car and I take off the continental kit what would I need to get to return it to stock? Original bumper brackets and is there a shorter panel between the body and bumper or does the bumper just move back to the body? What would the continental kit be worth if I would...

I ordered a 50 merc pressure plate from my local clutch store, I'm thinking I ended up with the wrong one but I'm unsure Its a 10 inch borg and beck but the bolt holes are 10 5/8 and the flywheel is 11 5/8 . so my question is do I have the wrong pressure plate or flywheel?

I can run a jumper to the light wire and the lights came on both highs and lows work, so i figure its in the light switch..
