Bob, My apologizes it has taken for taking a few days to get back with you. I looked in our system at the pricing history. You are correct at one time it was $15.75 but we found a supplier with a much better quality part. In turn our cost of the item went up there for the retail went up.

Do you remember the part number so i can look up the pricing history?

Whenever i see a complaint about poor products i always print the comment out and show it to the sourcing department to show them what kind of products we're getting for these vendors. We need to do a better job on sourcing from these vendors. Any kind of complaint i see on here or our Facebook...

Not sure what you wanted me to say?? I think we have a great catalog and have for years.

The only thing i didn't like about the new catalogs is type of paper used. I liked the older catalogs paper better for some reason. Great point about the exploding views of parts.

Thanks for the kind words. I do try my best. But with any business there are some road blocks along the way. I also have some cars although not Ford (Cadillacs) so i know how it can be from a customer said of things.

pgerhardt, sorry you're unhappy with the quality. i have saved the pictures and sending them to sourcing so they can see what kind of quality we're sending out to the customer. Also please let me know if you need any assistance on getting a refund i'd be more than happy to help.

I don't think they are in the new catalog. It should come with some in the box, but i know a lot of times they fall out or the manufacture forgets to put them in.
