I would try an 8BA pump. The one you used doesn't look like the 8ba one.

Mart, are you running a 40lb pump, or an 80lb pump.

Mart, did you happen to shim the pressure relief valve in the block up front. A stiffer spring there will prevent the front relief from defeating the pumps ability to hold pressure. Especially at idle. Did not see anyone else make that observation. My feeble memory is not sure your block has...

Deuce5window.....The way the bearing fits the saddle would require the bearing thrust to be bent outward and then machined parallel to the crank thrust surface. I dont like the need to make the shim to properly backup the bearing thrust. Have i lost you........?

On the forward jam, the bumper hole is 2 inches below the hole for the bottom screw of the hinge. The other is on the rear jam, 2 inches below the top of the cab rail.

It only needs a new head gasket. Why are you trying to find trouble? Replace the gasket and drive to your heart's content.

Mart, you make no clarifying comment in your video regarding whether or not you did any measuring for quench or valve to head clearances. Could you comment a bit on what assumptions were made, and why? I think it to be important for those that are not starting with new heads, but used heads.
