    Distributor cap problems 460 Lincoln

He seems to think it has to do with oil vapor in the cap. I'm going to replace all the seals and see if that works. Anybody have this problem?

I forgot to mention, I've replaced the points and condenser with a Pertronix ignition kit. Could that be part of the problem?

    Distributor cap problems 460 Lincoln

Hey guys, a couple weeks ago I was driving home from the shore when I started loosing power instantly. Pulled over, took the Cap off and noticed black soot on each point on the cap. We scraped some off with our nails and made it home fine. This happened many more times, even after removing soot...

    '59 Ranch Wagon Air ride???

I've looked into that, because it is much easier to find suspension parts for the Country Sedan , but many of the shock mounts look different. Also, many websites say they're not compatible with each other.

    '59 Ranch Wagon Air ride???

I want to be able to adjust the shocks to help with ride height while the wagon is loaded. With 2 adults in the back, the rear will scrape going out of parking lots.

Thanks RCM! Well, they're fairly readable, but i would think they would be easy enough to see at a glance and not keep looking at them haha. And i used the brackets that came with the seat belts and bolted them strait into the floor. Then bolted the shoulder strap to the side supports.
