With the float a motor mounts my engine shifted far enough forward so that the engine pan bolts could not be removed. I went back to the original mounts and can't tell that the vibration is any worse without them. I will stick with the original mounts.

I did my own and I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I get a lot of compliments on it.

My FAM allowed the motor to shift far enough forward to prevent the removal of the front oil pan screws. I had to go back to the original. I don't feel any difference in the ride. I would not use a FAM if I were you.

My switch rod had a raised area right where the lever was formed onto the round center. That was dragging on the steering wheel causing the switch to move when I turned the wheel. I filed the area under the lever until it was flush with the surrounding area and that solved the problem.

I know from experience that it works very well. Years ago I had seeping around the head gasket. I added one container of stop leak crystals and ran the engine until hot. I never had another head leak, seepage or otherwise. I used a modern replacement head gasket this time and so far I have not...

My bad. Screwing IN the idle air screw makes the mixture RICH. Sorry for the mistake guys, I had a brain fart.

Screwing in makes the idle mixture lean.

Compression would not break mine loose. I bought the head removal tool shown and it popped it right off. After I ordered the tool and while I was waiting for it to come in I put WD40 around the head studs. This probably helped as well.
