    Got a question regarding a T

Looks and sounds like a great price to me. She's beautiful and worth every dime.

My "T" is a little gutless!

This may be too simple to fix. Before pulling pistons and looking at rings, try finding the sweet spot with the spark advance before diving into the motor. Often, if you are running too rich or too lean, you don't get much power out of a T engine. Adjust the spark advance until you notice a real...

    Brass Polish?

I used to polish with Simichrome, but bought a jar and then a tube (comes both ways) of Blue Majic polishing cream. Its good for mag wheels on a car, but is terrific for polishing brass, silver, gold and any metal, with less effort than Simichrome and goes a very long way. I used it to polish...

    A Model T in a Model A mans world

You just have to remember what car you are driving, to operate the clutch on a Model T one foot on the brake and one foot on the clutch, pushing down for low speed will get you as close as you want with no fear. Forget what car you are driving can result in pushing a lot of stuff out of the way.

I have a 1909 Model T (first production year) and a 1927 Model T (last production year) and a 1930 Model A deluxe phaeton. Also 6 more collector cars. The 1927 Model T is the least expensive one in my collection, but by far the most fun to drive, both on tours and in rush hour traffic on busy...

    engine value

First off, I would see if you can turn it over with the crank. If it's stuck, it's still worth something for parts, but if you can turn it and pull a plug and see if there is any compression, you could pay $500. and still get a great deal.

    First Time Drive

Hold your foot against the "clutch" pedal, so it does not come up any higher than when you have the parking brake lever vertical and then move the parking brake lever all the way forward. Simply push down on the clutch pedal for low gear and let it come up for high gear. When you go to stop...
