    The car is a Hot - Rod, not a restored car. Why do you all belittle cars like it? I drive a rat-rod a 31 boat tail speedster a 1958 chevy car . Ilove them all! Admit it you like hot-rods and craftsman ship dont you. All cars are interesting to me!:D

    I was shown a 1947 V-8 Flat motor. I did some Horse Trading and now I got a 59 a. I been working on a 29 Boat tail with a real nice Banger. Help me get that V-8 out of sight of my boat tail. If I put a v-8 in my A it will take another year, What to do??:eek::confused:

    Hoof I just put new parts into a tilly for a fellow Model A person. The new chock shaft really tightened up the carb. You will really enjoy the rebuild Make sure the srewdriver fits the slotof the screw. use penitration oil.

    The young people ,in my part of the midwest could give a hoot about old cars, I believe my generation 66 years old, is the last of Restorers. Young people around here are not interested period!Sure hate to see it go!!

    Jack stands

    Tinman I put my 29 on Jackstands every Winter . I put stand under front axle by spring shakle. In back I set the stands out towards the backing plates on the rear end housing. Just make sure level and good ! hope this helps

    Spring Hanger (Shackle) Feedback wanted;

    Brent I have a rear set on the back of my 29 boat tail. they are from Mikes and have had no problems. I figure they will out last me, but I warn every one if there is a concern. Iuse Mikes stuff and I speak to him at least 1 time a month.
