Agree, sometimes that place is a necessary evil... I'm thinking when I looked at the other places maybe they were out of stock.

    1956 sunliner restoration

My dad wanted me to put disc on his 56 Sunliner. After much research I talked him out of it. I did put a manual Dual master. Rebuilt the drums all around. It stops great. I put disc on my 55 chevy several years ago and the drums on the 56 stop much better. JMO

    1956 sunliner restoration

Only thing to do on that car is put a white top on it and change the horn ring. Sure hope all that stuff is staying with the car and not ending up on craigslist or facespace.

    losing another Boneyard

Just thought I would throw this out there. Zeb's in Tigerton Wisconsin will not be around too much longer. The land was sold for Deer hunting and everything is getting crushed. Most has been pretty well picked but there are several old fords there maybe something can still be saved. If...

56 ford car front end sheet metal

Correct, the ones for the top of the Aprons are the longer ones and as stated in a earlier reply seem to be impossible to find. I guess I will need to find a parts car or switch thread size. Was hoping there was a source for the nuts.

56 ford car front end sheet metal

Another question for you guys. I'm trying to locate the cage nuts for the top of the wheel well where the fender attaches. According to the book it calls for 359952-S. This is the same # used at the rear of the well and the outer aprons. From what I can tell they need to be longer to fit and...

Went back in and cycled a few times to bleed and double check fill. All good no change. Parts came from Hydro E Lectric. The top has been manually put up and down since the rams were disconnected in 19? So it doesn't seem to be binding. Did lube every joint prior to trying the power option...

    Removing body bolts

Not sure on this vehicle but does it extend through the floor where the threads are visible underneath? I've had luck on this double nutting it and then running it back through the top. At least to get enough to get a vice grips on it or weld a nut to the top of the stud. Although, from the...
