Tudor - Floorboard Seal / Webbing

I didn't think a tudor had a rear floor board. Only a front and center.

    Grease seal removel

The driver I have is just a pipe nipple that fits the i.d. of the seal with a washer of the right size to fit over the nipple and o.d. to match the seal welded to the nipple. Screw a piece of pipe the proper length in it and it works great.

    Fleathead Engine Stands

Great thread and thanks for the pics. I have one of those that I have beem trying to soak free to get the head to turn. I had no idea that there was a base for them. Looked like it would have to be fastened to the floor to be stable. It is good to see all the attachments that were available. I...

29Closed Cab Pick up door hinges

Thanks for that info. I have a very good set of T doors for my 82A but have not looked them over closely. I was under the impression that they were the same. I'm sure thay will be close enough to be ok but it is good to know to watch for some minor differences.

    When do you shift survey

Kind of makes a difference if I'm starting out headed up hill, down hill or on the level. Same with down shifting. Down shifting coming to a stop or slow down or down shifting on a pull.

    Correct Guage Model A sheetmetal

I think 19 gauge is what it is. 20 ga should be ok. Maybe what you got isn't 20 ga. 20 ga should be about .036 thick.

    1928-29 CCPU dimensions?

I wonder if those might be the measurements for the cab only. 51" seems about right for the cab height.

    28 Roadster PU door latches

Here is a pic of a reproduction latch in a brookville door. It was a little tricky to get it in place but with a little trial and error it slipped in ok and fits and works nicely. The top slips up inside the door panel.

Which vacuum wiper fits my AA Truck.

I suppose most could be fitted to it but the 29 AA never came out with them. Only a manual wiper.

    1930 28-29 style gas tanks.....

Steve I have two early '30 AA's. One of them has the 30/31 style cap and the steering bracket does have a center rib on the back side of it. The other has the '29 style cap but it is not where I can look at it today to see what the steering bracket lookslike.

Be aware if you plan to use that hole for a heater there were many different heaters available back in the day and not all used the hole in the same location.

    Door glass dimentions

There is a problem with the dimensions in the service bullitens. It shows the tudor, coupe and and AA door glass to all be the same. This is a May 1928 bulliten so it would be referring to the 82A cab. I think the dimensions shown are for the truck cab as it is 19+ inches tall and 25 7/16 long...

    Transmission Problems

Some trans pan bolt holes go clear through the pan rail. If so you can use a longer bolt and put a nut on the top.
