    29 Roadster Rumble Lid Alignment

Thanks for all the help! Yes I am using all of the original parts that came off the car. I'll get someone to help me over the next few nights to get it straight. Got to get this baby on the road. This is my first model a and I only drove it twice before I tore her down! Thanks again!

    29 Roadster Rumble Lid Alignment

Hello, I'm putting my 29 roadster back together after disassembling it. My problem is that the rumble lid don't line up very well. As seen by the pictures it is racked in every direction. When I took it apart it was never this bad. I did remove the quarters from the sub rails to fix them but...

Took me most of the day but got them tight and smooth as can be! Figured out the repro triangle pieces were just slightly to long. After a little shaping everything fell right into place! Thanks!

Hello! I am attempting to put my 29 Roadster back together finally after two years of work. I don't like how the bumper lines up with the rear quarters on the back. YOM license plates

Utah allows them as well but you need to have a matching set. They won't allow it if you only have one. Which makes it pretty tough since it can be difficult to find a pair.

Hi Everyone! A buddy of mine is attempting to restore a 1929 Hudson. Does anyone know what type of wood was used to reinforce the sub rails? It is the same as the wooden blocks used on model A's they are just larger pieces that have finger joints that can be adjusted. Its quite a interesting...

Hi everyone! I had my upholstery guy to look at my 29 roadster this morning and in the two years since I took out my seat springs I have kind of forgotten exactly how the back of the front seat attaches to the car on the back. If I remember correctly when I took out the upholstery (or what was...

    Primer questions

I used this type of primer on a tractor I restored a couple of years ago and on the frame of my model a that I am currently retoring. It throws on a very heavy coat. It is great if you have large amounts of pitting and small dents and dings to fill. If you are going to use it where you have very...
