I just wanted to apologize to those on this thread. I was ill tempered but not whining. I ask for your forgiveness. And hope that in the future when you post, you think about the other person before you post.

With all do respect you HIJACKED the thread. It is not a question of whining which it wasn't. I was making a statement. I asked a simple question & someone that didn't understand my question had to make up an answer because they couldn't come up with the right one. And I will thank the...

Well thanks for the 2 cents.

Well I met an old timer that used to race A's. And he told me that the spider gears can be welded together but I thought they hadto be free moving.

Thanks for some worthless comments. If I wanted those I can get them on the HAMB.

Well I'm going to throw a wrench in here somewhere. Is it theoretically possible to convert a Model-A rear axle to a posi type rear axle?

The 3.54 is a keeper. You can get a better highway speed. I not a 100% but the lasalle gears give a better 1st gear & the 3.54s with a taller tire gives better highway. Correct me if I'm wrong. Shawn

Do you Know or have any Pictures of the first experimental V-8s air-cooled, the circular V-4. Shawn

C.W. Moss in Orange is a good place. They have been around a long time.

Does the shortened pitman arm change anything in the steering. Like how much the wheel turns?

Thanks for the info. I was always told that Model-A steering was alwasy on the uneasy side because the steering doesn't come back to center on it's own.

Sorry, no, there is a company that sells Brand new made in America steering column with F100 type parts link http://www.ezsteer.net/ezsteer-28-31 thanks Shawn

Has anyone purchased an EZ steering column? And how does it handle. Thanks

I have one that is similar from a 40. How I understand it is it is for shifting.

So what were the shocks filled with origionally?

I have a few of these & never rebuilt one. So the ring actually needs to be wide not compressed in order for the bushing to come out?

Thanks Again Ryan!!

I'm learnin
