V8 60 king pin lock bolts

Well! IF my tube axles were bored to use the 'wedge' type keepers, it would explain why Sid has seen them both ways, and why mine are bored 'large'.

    Cam/Lifter uh-oh Part II

Back to knurling pistons: I had Harry at Automotive Industrial Supplies knurl pistons in the '50s, '60s, and early '70s. Great oil holding, and 'refit'. My 274s all had knurled pistons, used and new. Easy way to fit. Also great fan of the Fish Scale trick: Thought we at Mayfield's Garage...

    Inline tubing, poor workmanship

Use the stainless with a suitable double-flaring tool, annealing the ends before flaring. A butane torch (around $10 at Harbor Freight) will anneal stainless nicely.

39 PU doors - removing creases?

Actually, the dent removal companies have some neat rollers and levers...sliding dollies...but when presented with 18-20 gauge steel, these guys simply state they can't do it! My son had one of those guys out to the house to fix my granddaughter's new Mustang. Great job, took 1/2 hour. Then...
