It's been a while, but the last post I can find was 2017? Oh, well, here I am and thanks for the updated site

Ok, but I am not clear what your point, is other than to acknowledge a correction. Please elaborate.

    Name change...Fordson to The Rouge?

Perhaps some of the confusion originates from the fact that the first vehicles produced on the site were the WWI Eagle boats, then the post war Fordson tractors. I don't think cars were actually assembled there until 1927?

    Fustrated at Snyders (Vent session)

[COLOR=Black] Hey, Derek, no one is out to get you for your spelling and grammar, but it is easier to understand your thoughts when it is easiest to read. Typing on a phone generally sucks and my tablet tends to select words for me that I never intended. Here, I cleaned it up a bit for you...

    Fustrated at Snyders (Vent session)

It is a sentence because you have a subject and a verb, but you also have two thoughts, so you need to separate them. "The aim in writing is always to write in complete sentences which are correctly punctuated. Sentences always begin with a capital letter and end in either a full stop...

Ah, but you still need punctuation! How about: "I'm glad I have spell check; this a tough crowd ." or "I'm glad I have spell check. This a tough crowd ." ?

    Forgive My Blasphamy

I would happily send you private pictures of my '31 coupe with this color combination. I won't post them here, because the chrome reversed wheels and the 3.5" chop might rankle some feathers. :)

Is it just me? Or is a DYWFWYP Auto Parts store in our future??

Oh, lord, these stupid threads pop up from time to time. Auto parts houses are in business to sell auto parts and supplies. That means 99.99% of their sales will be for vehicles built in the last 10 years. Add to that that many cars and trucks have mods made during the production run, sometimes...

    Anyone Contacted "American Pickers" lately?

I'll second Antiques Roadshow. American Pickers-how could anyone believe those two (and I can't decide which one is more annoying) just happen to stumble across some great finds while accidentally having a camera crew in tow. Really???

Need to Ship a 1931 Model A Coupe

I have used Bill's Auto Works and if you look in the HAMB-o-Dex you'll see he has 100's of positive, and zero negative, ratings.

    H-F class action suit

How many people do you know who will drive miles to save a quarter? I have two buying situations only: one, I need it now (blown tire on a trip, major plumbing leak in the bathroom) and I am going to pay whatever I need to, or two, I need it but have time to shop and can judge price/delivery...

    H-F class action suit

Like everything else-if the price matches the quality I want and I am happy about it, I buy it. Who really doesn't know that most of the HF ads are hype? Greedy attorneys out there (that may be redundant).

    Taylor Engine

Well, they might just be really busy and honest about the wait time. How many threads are there that start off "well they told me three weeks and charged my credit card and now it's two years later and they won''t answer my e-mails?"?

    Odd issue

I,too, like Mike K's answer. Not many irregular noises that up being nothing. Have you tried figuring out where the noise occurs on the rotating hub/wheel? Same place every time? You might also try it with the car on the ground and rolling it while listening-again to pinpoint the point of...

    sep plates- polishing?

The first white wall tire came out in 1914-Vogue Tyre and Rubber Co. and was made for horse drawn carraiges. On April 6, 1934, Ford introduced whitewall tires as an $11.25 option. In between, I'd bet a lot of Model A owners went for white walls. I would place a real money bet that there were...
