Manifold vacuum to the carb, got it ! I will have to do some research and see if the filter has an anti drain back valve in it. I believe it's a ford filter for a 5.0L.

The 11a distributor is the helmet type correct? I am running the crab distributor will it have enough advance for cruise? I did get edelbrocks tuning kit I will start with #8. Hoping to start it up for the first time in a couple more weeks.
