i dont feel it in the wheel at all.i will be driving fine and then front end shakes like crazy and i have to stop.

what can cause my model a to shake when i am driving,but it doesnt do it all the time.it just doesnt feel right and i dont see anything thats loose or bent.Any help would be great thank you.

Steering is way to loose in the 1930 model a.does anyone know how to tighten the steering up?thanks.

I live in buffalo ny,and start it all through the winter on a sunny day.never had a problem with my battery.

I have heard of people using some john deer grease for this.

this happen to me,i changed the gas cap and it solved the issue.the vent holes were clogged.

I had a similar issue, at a stop sign.engine would just shut right off.took me awhile to figure it out.i replaced the gas cap and never had a issue again.these model a can make you scratch your head.Lol

I went and bought a leakless pump,no more leaks for me.

thanks guys.i have heard the gas cap can make the engine stall.

they can be a real pain in the butt.i do a lot of brake jobs and have had many problems with getting rotors off.got sick of banging them off.went and purchased a hydrolic puller.they come off with ease now.word of caution,stay out of the way because they will fly off with force.

driving down the road with my 1930 model a and all of a sudden she lost power and quit on me.after a few minutes she started up and was fine.stomped.anybody have any ideas what could cause this?its getting fuel and not over heating.

10w 40 is what I use.model a loves any oil.

anybody know where I can find exaust clamp,manifold to muffler?macs parts are not that great and are smaller than the original clamp.is there something else I can use instead,thanks guys.do I have to replace things just to make things fit.frustraded. mike
