Cam I have is a long snout, probably won't work for you unless you go with a 3 bolt timing cover and a 3 bolt helmet to a 2 bolt crab distributor adapter to space the distributor out. Technically it would be considered a 91a cam even though it was removed from a 39 221 ford reman engine...

I believe the early cams associated with the helmet dist had the long snout on the end of the cam and short snouts for the crab. I may be wrong but that's what I've found to be the case. I have a good cam core but would have to check which end it has.

Just did this on a 66 cyclone a couple weeks ago. 1 Remove steering wheel, spring and bushing from steering shaft, unplug wire harness. (no need to remove signal switch) 2 Unbolt and remove flange, seal at fire wall 3 Remove 2 nuts under dash holding column tube to brake pedal assembly...

Is it really that hard to acknowledge someone when they go out of their way to try and help? Show some consideration and at least make contact even if you have found what your looking for or are not interested. Just another example of how self centered and ignorant society is becoming!

Sent you a PM. I believe i have what you need. Ron

They do not care about customer service. Ordered a complete 67 Mustang GT Grill kit. Kit showed up missing fog light brackets. Received a email a couple days later saying brackets were back ordered and will be available in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed, no brackets. Another email was sent, now a 6...

It's not April 1st so I guess a detailed explanation from a administrator is in order. Charlie is one of the nicest guy's involved in this hobby and always willing to help someone out with advice or parts. If someone can't justify this action, maybe we should boycott this site until such and...

Re: Is there a difference in a ‘41 car and truck front fender What side are you looking for, I may have one?

Don't waste your time with a junkyard, they only want newer vehicles but I would be more than willing to come take it off your hands when the time comes. LOL

Thanks John, I'll be giving them a call and maybe I can finally get something going forward.

Nice looking engine. Do you have contact info for the machine shop that did the work, I'm looking to have a 59A rebuilt for my 39 pickup. Thanks, Ron

Couldn't agree more, he did a excellent job cleaning, rebuilding, detailing, and setting up a 3 deuce intake for my 39 truck.

The reign of B&C was before that. Local money. But yes the bankers still steal, backed up by taxpayers money if things go wrong. Actually Bonnie and Clyde crime spree started in 1932 and continued until may of 1934 when law enforcement finally shut them down.

Charlie, sounds like fun, I'll bring the 3 deuce set up we spoke about a couple weeks ago and check out the swap meet. Look forward to meeting you in person.

I'm by far a expert on flatheads but seems to me a guy could offset grind a 3 3/4 crank to come close to the same stroke as a mercury crank and use early rods. Giving the price and availability of merc cranks, is this an option that's been explored?

Saw thee on Facebook Marketplace, thought I'd pass them along. 1935-40 ford chassis $1,000 West Chester, PA 1936 Ford rolling chassis $900 Ephrata, PA

Amazing story and makes you realize just how easy we have it today. That generation did what ever it took to get things done regardless of how difficult, regardless of the weather and all without complaining or whining about conditions, equipment, or pay. To bad those values haven't been...
