I recently found an old 1932 floormat in black. I understood that they were only ever available in Taupe. It says "NO 4 UNIVERSAL MAT 91" It has the jute backing on it as well. I am assuming that it was an early reproduction. Has anybody else seen one like this?

I just went out and checked mine. The steering wheel key is straight up at twelve o'clock which makes the small one at the bottom 6 o'clock when centered.

Sports Car Central in Edmonton is the Penrite dealer for Canada. I bought my steering box lube from them and had it shipped to Ontario. Penrite lists a GL4 gear oil. Might be worth a look if you can't find anything else.

This is a photo I saved of what they look like. Check with Michael at Third Gen for the part or Fred at Barnfind. Both have helped me greatly in the past. David is right as many people here like the corn head grease. I just bought some Penrite Steering Box Lube to give a try on the rebuilt box...

Does anybody make a proper ratchet for the 1932 emergency brake handle? All the repros I have seen are Model A. The difference is shown in the photo I found. The correct one is the one on the bottom. Thank you

I heard a flathead with an equalizer tube a few years ago and it seemed to kill the beloved flathead sound.

A good friend had one and it was complete junk. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it. Brand new and wouldn't set up or steer correctly, skips etc. He wanted to take it to Hershey and put it through his windshield in front of everybody.
