The horns on my Edsel where working after I tested them directly on the relay. It seemed that I didn't got contact from the steering ring.

Well, I also find the standard carter ventilation not the best solution. While standing still sometimes the little smoke comes from under the car. Is it possible to connect a filter to the end of that pipe? (= the pipe that is mounted on the ignition side of the engineblock).

Oke, it's a lot to take in me.... was with the car just a moment ago. It still doesn't have a Dutch license, we are working hard on that at this moment. After close thought it occurs to me that replacing the stock 2-barrel Motocraft might be a beter option, and search a replacement that fits...

Oke Jeff, thank you very much (and offcourse you other guys too:) ). On Dutch forums they quickly talk about too big carburators when you mention the 600 cfm and mounting it on a "small block" like the 292.. But; I find the Mummit manifold expensive when I compare it to for example a manifold...

That has to be 600 dollars :)

I have the strong feeling that this is not the stock carb that is supposed to be in the car. It looks like a later year of make. By the way, it's a Motocraft, but they are similar to the Autolite's?
