    Antifreeze for 24 stud flathead

If I didn't have the Detroit Diesel antifreeze laying around in the garage, I would probably buy propylene glycol. This does two things: 1) get the stuff out of the garage an 2) save me a few bucks that I can use for something else.

    Antifreeze for 24 stud flathead

I should add that this stuff is basically ethylene glycol with supplementary coolant additives in it. According to the label it meets or exceeds Ford ESE-M97B44-A standards.

    Antifreeze for 24 stud flathead

My '37 has a 99T 24 stud flathead in it. It is time to change the antifreeze in the car so all is good for winter. I have several gallons of Detroit Diesel Power Cool antifreeze left over from the last time I changed the coolant in the engines in my boat. I was wondering if this could be used in...

    Isinglass Windows

I am glad that she got the windows cleaned up. One thing I have found with the isinglass on our boat is that using mineral spirits is a good way to get that sticky residue off the windows.

The Henry Ford and the Memphis belle

My wife and I went to the museum in November. It is really a great place. The only advice I can give is to take advantage of the information panels at a lot of the displays. They give a lot of information about the exhibits. They are a touch panel so they are pretty easy to work with.

I hope I never have to bend them again. It definitely was not enough fun the first time.

    Horn button orientation

Kube, no it is not. After I get this all back together I am going to investigate the procedure for getting that corrected. After getting the horn button oriented properly I can see why the previous owner decided to not tackle correcting the orientation. Those tabs were seriously hard to bend...

    37 Headlight Wiring

Anybody able to help out? Biggest questions are do I have the wires potentially connected to the correct lugs. I have my doubts as it looks to me that the way I have the wires potentially connected the parking lights, low beams and high beams would all be on at the same time.

    Horn button orientation

OK. I got the horn rod out. Now to get the horn button correctly oriented with the switch. It looks like I bend the tabs on the under side of the light switch handle to get the button loose. What else do I have to do? I really hate to dig too far into this to find out I did something wrong. I...
