Vic----That sounds promising for fixing my, sometimes, vapor lock problem. I might drive over next month to see how you set it up.

Thanks, Coopman, that sounds logical to a non mechanical/electrical mind like mine. I'll try that next time.

John, I wouldn't mention names either, have to keep the head basher happy.

I used a 12 volt start pack on my 6 volt Ford a few years ago. After several tries, it did start, but I ended up with a fried fuel gage and oil pressure gage. Had to send both out to be rebuilt.

My choice would be the 17th or 24th. Have to be in San Diego first of the month for my grand daughter's college graduation. Haven't seen you for awhile.

That's what real women looked like back then. The ones Vic comes up with are only figments of his imagination.

Glad you got your '39 CS back running, unfortunately, this wasn't a good day to test it. My rain gage shows 3" already. I got my CS back working last week after a carb. rebuild. First I had to get a new kit from Mac's since they sent me one for the Holly and I have a Stromberg. That wasn't...

Vic, Marilyn and I also want to extend our thanks for organizing such a great weekend. We had a good group, everyone really had fun. Other than Fantasy of Flight, my highlight was going into that large garage with the 50 or so beautifully restored cars.

The weather this weekend looks absolutely perfect. Sunny everyday and temps in the 70's. I'm looking forward to my first Barner's Bash and seeing JM's world famous '35 Fordor sedan. I just hope he shares his bounty. :D

I won't make it either, company coming in tomorrow. We'll probably have a heat wave the end of the month.

If Vic's going to the beach now, he will freeze his ******* off, but the ladies will look good. It's 50 degrees, even if the sun is out.

On the forum for owners and pilots of the airplane I own, 3,000 members, I'm the second oldest. On the Ford Barn, probably in the youngest half of the members at 74. It's all relative.

Glad you got the water pumps in. Have you figured out the surging problem yet?

He's trying to figure how to line everyone up so his LZ gets top billing. But then again, maybe choir director fits better.

It's supposed to be 66 tomorrow, (Fri), you mean a New Yorker can't take that? Maybe after that, we can come back here and fly over to Zephyhills for the Pigz n Z'hills bar b que and blues fest and car show at the airport.

Vic I have an EAA/airport meeting Sat. morning, but may drive over afterwards. That was good pizza.

That's got to be photo shopped, no one is shaped like that. :p

You forgot to tell them what a good Ford mechanic I am. Beer in one hand, rag in another and saying,"what's that thing." Thanks Bill and Gene for your compliments.

Hey Vick, It was nice meeting you, and Mike and Don. I have been sitting over here in New Port Richey for 8 years, thinking I was the only flat header around. I was getting ready to sell my CS since there wasn't anyone to play with. Then I discovered Ford Barn and you and the guys living just...
