I can see where an air fuel gauge would be beneficial for tuning an engine. Would an exhaust temperature gauge accomplish the same thing? I happen to have an EGT in my shop that I removed from an aircraft engine.

I have a T170 that I want to use but the overdrive is 41%. I have been trying to find a 26% cluster gear and overdrive gear for some time now with no success. Do any of you know where I might find these parts?
