i have one in my little pickup, in and out a couple times but i can take my seat out and use blocks to raise up to the level of the seat riser. that way i dont have to contort this pushing 60 back that much. you should be able to get it once you see where the mounting screws are it will come...

i replaced the rear '39-'42 to '46-'48, much happier, the front will be done soon, and any big rig shop that rebuilds clutchs and brakes should be able to reline your shoes (they line the hole shoe) cut the drums and arc the shoes to each drum. rich

saw a solid and hollow lifter on a scale couple years ago and the solid lifter was less in weight. rich

there are a couple dealers here in cali that sell restored plates that are also DMV cleared at the point of sale. and there is a DMV office that has a wall framed with 50 or more plates restored with the name of the guy that restored them. just get your plates cleared first and then restore...
