I recently went through this research. The “ normal “ hose is sae30R6 or R7. The good stuff is R9 or R14. The 14 is quality and long lasting but not for high pressure and was less $ than the R9.

I’ve looked at these for years with the intention of buying one (or two). Question - is it for a certain type of distributor? Helmet, Crab, 8BA?

I recently asked some experienced (older) mechanic friends about what grease I should use on a distributor. Their answer was “distributor grease “. A good alternative may be disc brake caliper grease as it tends not to flow and go places it shouldn’t.

The lines of the club vs regular are quite a bit different. I'd prefer to club just to open up the options and use the car in more ways. I doubt I'll find a club so will end up with the great looking lines of a regular coupe. Kind of a win/win situation. Tried the Wanted section but no action.
