Really nice chrome bumper. Re-chromed over 20 years ago and wrapped in newspapers until now. It is 58 inches long by 4 inches wide. The curve is about 2 inches. Measuring in from either end, the first hole is about 7.75 inches to the center; the center hole is dead center at 29 inches. On the...

The Spring Swap meet at the Classic Auto Mall is tomorrow, Sunday April 7.

NJ event has been growing over the past few years. Despite the tolls you pay to cross from MD into DE and NJ, it’s worthwhile. The slight drop in vendors this year was understandable- they had about 8 inches of rain the day before. The weather has been tough on the early spring swap meets in...

The space fee increase will encourage some vendors to reduce their number of spaces; and it might decrease the number of folks renting a space solely for parking. The future may bring a contraction in the number spaces rented. Nothing lasts forever. Enjoy Hershey for as long as you can. As for...

Hmmmm, Milton died in 1945, 9 years (almost to the day) before the first show at Hersheypark- October 1954. The Hershey Region has published a better history- but from memory: There was a Hershey executive who offered the grounds after the Club needed to vacate the Derry Horse facility. Before...

I intended to go, but the triple whammy of the high priced hotels, gate fee, and the 15% buyers fee was enough to keep me home. I did, however, follow it online and that was excellent. An impressive collection of stuff, but clearly his better vehicles went elsewhere. Some of the prices left me...

Nice 16 page full color brochure. Passenger cars only. Brochures are as new with very minor wear from age. $5 includes postage. I have a few of these. Email me for pictures. GVONGUNTEN (at) Comcast (dot) net. Of course, you add the correct characters!

Another lap around the Sun. The Sugarloaf Mountain Region thanks parts meet is this week, Friday-Saturday, March 25-26, 2022.

Actually set up day next year will be Monday and the swap meet will operate Tuesday-Friday. That means early birds will ship on Monday and most vendors will be packing up or home by Friday morning. The big loser is the poor sap who has to work and can only attend on Saturday. Ironically, some...

Yes!

God and Hershey should always be capitalized. We thank Him for making it possible.

Very nice black Ford steel wheel from a car about 1970. Was the trunk spare, never on the ground. Pictures upon request. Will ship at your cost; or free delivery to Carlisle or Hershey.

I’ve been to both already. Carlisle on Thursday for set up day; and York today (Friday). There is one vendor at York with a lot of ‘40 Ford parts. Other than that, it’s hit or miss with a few dozen small vendors. Carlisle is loaded with Mustang and Ford high performance parts; but the sheer...

Luray is about as laid back as possible: and quite unlike Hershey. A small grassy field with a few dozen vendors. All pretty much pre-war and a great way to spend a few hours. The parking lot is so close you can simply carry each purchase back. The Legion hall has good and inexpensive food with...

1. The Carlisle GM Show is always light. 2. The other Carlisle events have been well attended, although not at 2019 levels. 3. Fall Carlisle will be boosted by the cancellation of the Hershey Swap Meet. 4. Don’t show up in Hershey for the Saturday car show- it got scrubbed also. 5. The AACA is...
