Thanks everyone for the help. I was planning on ordering a whole new unit attached to my old gauge. Just couldnt figure out where it was supposed to thread in. The water pump fitting makes perfect sense. Thanks again !!

Thanks Brian my only concern is the length of the bulb , being 2 inches wasnt sure it would fit properly ? I need to order a tube to replace a broken one that wasnt with motor when I found it.

Can someone tell me where the location is for a water temp capillary tube bulb on a 21 stud flathead motor ? Motor has water pumps bolted to each head. I have aftermarket vintage speed equipment on it: Eddie Meyer heads, Thickstun PM tall intake. If the original motors did not have one from...
