EAB Heads & their Piston Reliefs - Is this right?

I'll check them, or see what my machine shop thinks at least, but these are EAB heads so I'm expecting this to be a problem in the piston area and to need relieving in the valve area with the Max-1 cam I'm using. I haven't been able to get a coherent depth reading in the valve pockets due to the...

EAB Heads & their Piston Reliefs - Is this right?

I am really bummed out about this but I bought them 5 years ago on eBay and really should have asked more questions about what was done to them and looked closer. At the time it didn't even occur to me that these would have been milled improperly or for a specific block. :(

EAB Heads & their Piston Reliefs - Is this right?

THANKS! That measurement will definitely come in handy. And now I know they are indeed supposed to be uniform and I am not crazy. This is indeed one head and I was afraid that was the case. Yes, this is looking to be the case. Yeah, it would seem someone either milled these wrong or milled...

EAB Heads & their Piston Reliefs - Is this right?

Years ago I bought a set of cleaned and machined EAB heads from a machine shop off of ePay. Well, I finally took them out and started scrutinizing them and I noticed something that struck me as very odd. The dome reliefs for the pistons are not uniform in size. Were these heads milled...

Ford lifters on an Iskendarian cam

I'm waking this one back up and following along because I'm in a similar boat as @tubman with wanting to use the OE lifters and a Max-1. I'd like to know what the winning combination ends up being.

Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

I'm pretty sure I got the last of the loose tanks, but IDK what may still be in storage. There were 2 rollers that looked to have 30/31 cowls. They were on cut down AA frames used as tractors locally during the war (doodlebugs).

Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

I don't know my way around here so well, I only saw the top level forums, not the subforum for AA's. Feel free to crosspost and tell your buddies though. Time is of the essence.

Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

I did not since it's all A and AA stuff, though he did have one T rear end that had been run on some sort of tractor conversion at some point. It had gears on the hubs.

Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

Crossposting this from the HAMB: Over the weekend I was able to fill my truck with some Model A parts from a guy that's fairly buried in them and hasn't had a huge amount of luck finding buyers. He NEEDS to clear this parts lot out to make room for some site improvements. As much as he hates...

Looking for ID on these Aluminum Quarters

Ok, I got a message from the guy that originally salvaged these from a scrapper. They are from a Marmon v16, so, notaford, disregard.

Looking for ID on these Aluminum Quarters

I'm trying to ID these aluminum quarters so I can determine what should be done with them. I suspect they may be 1930 Loncoln, so I'm posting them here. I picked these up in an auction. Nobody could identify them. They are aluminum but the heavy subframe/mounts at the rear appear to be made...

    53 Mercury/Shoebox Front Brakes

Price Drop, $60.00 I bought these juice brakes to try and see if I could adapt them to earlier spindles. I can't without major modifications that I don't want to do and I'm not building a Merc or Shoebox anytime soon so here they are. These apparently came off of a 53 mercury and should also...

35 Ford Wire Wheels Hubs & Drums x4

Price Drop, $100 Four 35 Ford Wire Wheels with Hubs & Drums; asking $100.00 OBO, local pickup preferred. One tire holds air & I can cut off the rest of the rotten ones. Two of them look pretty decent. The rust isn't bad, there's some paint on them, & they look straight. The other two have...

    53 Mercury/Shoebox Front Brakes

I'm not building a Merc or Shoebox anytime soon so here they are. These apparently came off of a 53 mercury and should also fit a 52 as well as 49-53 Shoebox. I'm not certain on the fitment though as I'm not schooled up on these cars. I started cleaning them up a bit since these pictures were...

Dana 44 Rear End 3.07 with Brakes

Looking to find a new home for this Dana 44 rear end. I've decided I'm not going to have a project that I want to use it for anytime soon, which makes it in the way. I got this in a parts lot, so I haven't run it and know little about it other than what I can see. The case is labeled 3.07 and...
