THe fuel valve was blocked by sediment. Does anyone have a part number for a pencil filter?

I went to turn on the '31 and the motor runs for about 10 seconds (if im lucky) then dies out. I pulled the fuel filter and found that it was clogged. After cleaning it out and replacing the filter the motor would fire up for about 30 seconds then die out. Any ideas? P.S. I just bought this...

The car will crank but not start. I just thought I would have battery issues if the starter is always getting power.

After installing a new starter I realized that my car is ALWAYS getting power. I am able to start the car with the key still in my pocket. I guess my '31 is equipped with a special "keyless go" option:p. Can someone please explain if this is normal or am i missing something?

Thanks I will try that this week. Before I order a new bendix drive, does anyone have a diagram how I can remove it? I searched this site/youtube and everything shows how to install a new one, but i need to know how to take of the original one. :(
