I understand the felt retains lubricant for the radius ball, but how does lubricant get to the felt? Nothing on the lubrication charts mentions lubricating the ball. Do I just soak the felt when assembling the engine to the transmission or does the transmission "leak" or "sling" 600W while...

I removed the head last night with the distributor still in. I will be tapping it out either tonight or tomorrow night if I get the time. Thanks for the help guys, Andrew

First time poster here on the ford barn. I have done a search and haven't found anything on this. I was trying to remove the head tonight and got to the point of removing the distributor. I loosened the locking nut and then removed the screw holding the distributor in the block. I don't see...
