Three marriages does that count? With a Model A back in 1966 going down a long hill I decided to see what it would do. Got it up to 70---knocked the rear main out, my first engine change. Just getting ready to put in the fourth one in. Inserted B with one of Pete's 1007B cams and Tods 7-1 heads.

I saw a Craigslist ad a while back that had a set of rims for a 30-31 with about the same price as these. Guy said he found some reproductions from one of the vendors and based his price on those. Hope springs eternal !!!!

Back about 50 years back I had a similar knock--constant. Turned out a chunk came off the timing gear. It sounded just like a rod knock but was consant.

Backin 76 when I went through my coupe for the second time I bought new mushroom bolts for the running boards from Ricks. I'm not sure about the material but each snapped when tightening' Looking at the break it looked like they were pot metal. Good think I have kept all the "A" nuts and bolts...

I recieved mine about a week ago. Shipping was fairly quick and it's a beautiful piece of work---impressive. As soon as I get a spare cam reground I'll tear down and reassemble and post pictures from the project.
