    No Thermostats

I run 160 thermostats and it works always very well. IMO the engines should not run cooler than 160-180...and 200 is not a problem at all for a well built Flathead. But what do i know?

Ford Flathead vs small block chevy debate!

just saw a 67 Camaro with a Flathead... did not look "right"! I think in a traditional Ford belongs a traditional Ford engine...but that's just my opinion and I respect everybody's (ok, nearly everybody's) taste.

How hot can you really run a flathead safely?

well...not sure about that. My flatheads run between 180-200 in most all the different circumstances. So they're just perfect. Below 180 is not good for the engine, that's what I've been told. My SBC is getting close to 200 and when I really want to know how fast it goes, then 210 is not unusual...

    D Day

well...I'm too young and as a Swiss I don't have lost relatives in the war (ok, in the 11th and 12th century, when we kicked those German and French asses!!!) - but when you're standing at the clipps in France or at one of those huge military cementeries there you have to be greatful to all of...

    32 Title needed...

@Ford38V8: you are right I don't need to prove that it is my car BUT they don't accept here "just" informations in books or so...and there is no VIN number on the chassis so we have to stamp one in anyways @rotorwrench: thanks for the "salvage-tipp"!! I already experienced that a 32 title is...

    32 Title needed...

Hi, I bought a very nice, original 32 rolling chassis in the US with flathead and transmission for my roadster project here in Switzerland. For our DMV I need some kind of title or paperwork. It does not have to be in my name, just to show that this is a 32... Are there any "old" titles from...

I'm looking for an original 32 chassis, not boxed: either "just the chassis or as a roller with dropped front axle, juice brakes, banjo rear (closed or open drive). I need one for a 32 roadster and one for a 1930 model A roadster. thank you very much for helping a Swiss hot rodder to get the...
