Well the ammeter reads charge before I try the lights but then it quits like everything els and when I apply the gas it returns with the other lights

Don't go to the DMV. AAA will be able to take care of you with no hassle ......

I have changed to wiring harness, the headlight lamp sockests, tried grounding them and they just won't work, I have parking lights, horn dash lights, brake light, but the minute I try the headlights I lose all the other stuff but if I rev the engine the other items come back on but no...

I installed a new wiring harness and wiring connector bulb and still have the same problems

I have brake lights and interior light horn and parking lights ........ When I try to turn on the headlights everything goes until I speed up the engine and then the previous items come back on ..........

The Light switch is on Properly. Just finished rewiring with a new harness and problem still persists

I am having trouble with the headlights on my 1930 Business Coupe the headlights will not work and when I turn them on the horn and brake lights stop working. The parking lights are working fine. I changed the rod inside the steering column and changed the wiring bulb at the end of the steering...

I changed the condenser .... but thanks you may be correct about the fuel that will be my next try ..... and the points are set correctly and not burned

The Carb is a Zenith-2 ..... and the plugs are clean with a little ash color
