    inspection nightmare

I was definitely in the camp that said if you have fuel problems, there must be something wrong with your car because it doesn't happen to me. Until... going up Mt. Mitchell off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I also had similar problems in Mississippi after hours of sustained 50mph driving. At...

    Seriously Drive NJ to Gettysburg?

There are a lot of nice roads going across southern PA between Gettysburg and NJ - you should definitely do it! These pictures were taken on my way back home to NJ last fall:

    Ignition cable head bolt clamp

Yes it is an original popout cable but restored with new internal wire. When I put the head on I adjusted the cable in the clamp such that I'd be able remove the distributor if needed later. I don't recommend doing this if not needed, but I think it is a better option than loosening a head...

    Ignition cable head bolt clamp

Looking for a 30-31 gas tank BOTTOM or wire channel

Just the wire channel on the bottom of a 30-31 tank is needed to fix a good tank. The tank is in very good shape except that someone cut away the wire channel in the area around and below the speedometer. Any leads would be appreciated.

    Moto-Meter

I tested five off them at the same time, suspended over a pot of water covered with tin foil, and recorded the temperature at various points. Later in cars, I've used an infrared temperature gauge to take the head and radiator temperature and the results matched pretty close to what I had...

Installing metal valve stems on tubes

Richard - A clincher tire is a high pressure tire like that used on most Model Ts. It needs the higher pressure (55-70psi) to keep it from spinning on the rim. BTW - that is another advantage of metal stems - they are less likely to get cut if the tire pressure gets low and the tire...
