Thank you very much. I don't have a timing indicator on the motor, but the mark moved about 1 1/2" on an 8" dampner.

I think I get around 5". Is that enough for the normal vacuum advance? Any suggestions. Thanks so much for the input.

Can anyone tell me what I should expect in the way of vacuum coming from the carb to the vacuum advance.
