    Raidiator hose gap

A shorter belt is all it took. 41” belt provided the clearance I was looking for. However the shop I got belt from only had it in a 1/2” width. I hope this won’t present a different issue.

    Raidiator hose gap

This is what I was first thinking I might try. But since it didn’t have it when I tore it down I figured, why would I need it now.

    Raidiator hose gap

This may be the answer. Seems likely that the first top pipe for 28 may offer a solution. The pipe that I’m using was on the car when I tore down. However the radiator sat on thicker pads and engine was on an after market front mount. https://i.imgur.com/WCbAc3C.jpg

    Raidiator hose gap

Reinstalling my 29 Tudor radiator today, ran into a situation that has me stumped. When fan belt is tight, I have less than a 1/4” space between the return radiator hose and the belt. When generator is pushed all the way in and touching block I still only have at most 1/2”. So no much room for...

End to a 9 year hiatus.

Im back, This is the first post in what has been a long overdue return to the restoration of my father-in-laws 29 Tudor. The work first began in 2011 and was intended to be a complete frame off restoration. But in 2013 was when I started a new business in the middle of the restoration, and all...

    Ahooga horn for cell phone

I had an Ahooga horn ring tone and thought it was alright, even recieveing a few comments from folks who heard it. But recently while my engine was out of the car during a rebuild I longed for that oh so unique 4 banger sound. So I recorded a friends engine running and applyed it to my ringtone...

    Where do you fit in?

I would like to think that I can fall in the 3 zone but what usually happens is that life gets in the way to often before a task is complete and I then differ to a 2 or even a one. "Man I wish I was retired"

    Thinking of selling my car

No offense taken, The car that I pictured in my earlier post is not a car that I would want to buy, but as I mentioned it was purchased as a courtacy to an auctioneer and colleague who has an obligation to honour the bid to his consigner. And as for a comparison, you are right about there is a...

    Thinking of selling my car

You may be right about B.J. auctions, I have seen bidders there who buy a car just so they could brag about how much he paid. "When I brag, its because I feel like a bought it cheap" They want everyone to know, they can afford to buy what ever they want. But there are hundreds of real world...

    Thinking of selling my car

Your pictures tell a story of a beautiful car. I bet the car has been well care for. And worth every penny that someone will pay. I am bias of course but I like a live auction for these lovely ladies. I would offer to sell it for you off site with a buy back option to protect you but I would...

    Model A in Cuba

I pulled theses pics off the web, I think it is fasinating that the builders of these anphib-cars would be so meticulous as to paint the bow of the boat/car to match.

MY first thought was it was not used for hauling items behind the truck but used on a drilling site to move pipe by hand, slightly different design but really I dont know.
