    Walter won't start !

Thanks for all the information. I was told I should change my ground from the transmission tower to the frame. Said transmission should only be used as a secondary ground. It's always worked there before but hey what do I know.

    Walter won't start !

Are there any Ford Barn members here in Visalia that would be interested in trouble shooting my 31(Walter). New coil , new condenser. Got horn and lights. No spark at plugs. Church finally having a car show on the 23rd. And now Walter won't go. If anyone here in the area and would like to swing...

    Need a strong spark.

Been trying to get Ol Walter started after a winter slumber. I cant get a good spark. I'm getting a little when the points open. But no nice blue spark at the plugs. Battery charged, newer distributor with internal condenser. Had been fine last year. Where should I start ?

How to disassemble hand throttle lever

May need to replace the spring at the bottom end of the lever. That'll give it some extra pull down to the column notches.

    gas tank welt

I also used the stapled on strip method. It was still a booger but it worked. I wouldn't want to make a living putting in tank welt.

I know this is crazy-but what do you folks think it's worth?

I'd pay $2,200 in a minute. Play with it as is for a while. Then start figuring what kinda body I want. Great start.

Squealing fan belt driving me CRAZY

Is by any chance the belt adjusted too loose. I don't have this problem on my A, but I have a 79 pick up and it did exactly the same thing you described when the belt was loose. Took up the slack and I could hear again.

    Passing of George Pope

I don't have a lot of info other than the passing of a great Model A guy and friend George Pope. George is one of the restorers of Huff and Puff the 1930 school bus. George hadn't been well for a while. We talked on the phone but I didn't get over to which saddens me. George was my go to guy. If...

What a job. Walk into a shed and be told "can you get her running"? I couldn't wait for my next day of work. Can't wait for pic's. Sounds like a cool project.

    A new member

Would be great if you can drain and seal the tank. Of all the tasks I've done working on Ol Walter, removing and re installing the tank was my least favorite.
