My shop is new to the body and paint thing. I have been building flatheads and Arduns for 25 years and have a great parts collection and good sources for parts. But.....since expanding into doing body & paint I find myself starting to look around for good places to buy reproduction panels and so...

Not to stir the pot here.... But isn't it funny what people do? Someone asked nicely for people to post pictures of related tattoos. Almost every single post except one was an opinion one way or the other about tattoos!!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the thread was supposed to be about pictures...

I have a 49 Merc in right now that's leaking out the OD solenoid unit. I am not too familiar with OD units. Is this a typical issue and how hard is it to fix? Any input welcome :) Thanks!!!

Rob, You can mount it w/o the oil pan on. I have built many this way with zero issues. I'm not saying that it CAN'T be a problem....just that I have never had it be a problem. Matt

All late intakes have the carbs on an angle. The later blocks sat in a sort of "saddle" so to speak and the rear of the engine was tipped downward. The angle on this intake looks a little steeper than most, but hard to tell. My guess is that it's the normal angle for a late intake.

This is the "wanted" section not the for sale section :)

Nice looking set up!!! I really like your banjo fittings :D

It's venturi vacuum which it what the late dist. uses for advance. They are a replacement for the Holley which was stock on a 49-53 engine. Works just like the Holley except it's a Stromberg.
