I have seen the 1383 A and 1383 B but not the C. That is what was part of my identificatrion problem. I do appreciate you taking the time to try to help me.

I have a Model A Spare tire carrier that is marked A1383-C. Can anyone tell me what it fits so that I can sell it. Any help will be appreciated.

I have approx 20-30 very old car show plaques. These are the small metal plates that use to be passed out when you attended a car show. These belong to my Dad who has passed and I am trying to think of a good way to preserve them and possibly display them at the same time. Some of these are...

I just have to add my 2 cents worth. I have bought from you on that epay site and you have always done a great job of describing and shipping items. Hang in there and just know you are doing your best. Prayers for a fast recovery for you and this nation.

This is a new old stock 1930-1931 Ford Pickup Radiator shell. I am going to try and post pictures but if that does not work just send me email and I will forward pics. It still has the original box but the box is in very bad shape. Please look at the pictures very close and ask any and all...

Can anyone tell me how to identify the early AR Radiator and Gas caps. Seems like I remember that there was a difference in the AR ones versus later ones.

Thanks for the replies. I will get started with the suggestions. You fordbarners are great and I do really appreciate all of you taking the time to offer suggestions. I do cherish the times with my Dad and to see the smile on his wrinkled face when we are in the truck/car together is a reward...

Got 39 Ford Pickup. ( 85HP) Belongs to my 90 year old Dad. It has had to sit as lot the last year. Prior to that it ran like a champ. Changed plugs recently. Only driven about 30 miles. Drove it Sat with Dad at my side. He was all smiles but it began to buck and jump. Got it back home...

I have a new old stock 30-31 Model A Truck radiator shell. Still have the old original box it came in with the stock number on it. Box is in rough shape but saved the part that had the stock number on it. From what I can tell by reading this thread it is not for the AA trucks. If anyone is...

I have a NOS dual pulley water pump for 33-36 Ford. Fits on the cylinder head. Not sure if original ford or a replacement. Has the number 51-8509-c on the pulley. I understand it can be used on vehicles with old blowers, or even one that have had AC retro-fitted. If you want pictures e-mail...

This may be a little drawn out but trying to give you all the facts. Was having starting problems with 39 Pickup (85HP). Took dist off and replaced burned points and put on new condenser. Put it back on and before starting used test light to see if current was to coil when key was on...

I have found some new spotlight brackets for 1930-1931 Roadster and Phaeton Model A. The chrome is outstanding. They are for the driver side and mount where the 2 screws hold the stanchion post. They come with the mounting screws. I got these at an old estate auction. They would be ideal for...

All of my windshield screws would not come out or either the heads popped off. I was at a loss of what to do. Then I thought who would be good at removing very small rusted broken or maybe stripped screws. I went to my local gunsmith who drilled them out for me at a charge of $4.00 per hole...

A week or so ago I posted about a quality plating job done by Graves Plating in Florence, AL. Everyone wanted pictures so I am trying to do exactly that. Not sure how good the pictures show the good work they did but here they are anyway.

Just trying

Had an old center bumper guard for my 39 Ford Coupe that I wanted plated. I thought it was in pretty good condition. I sent it to Graves Plating in Florence, AL. They gave me a price that I thought was out of this world ( meaning to high). I told them to do it anyway since I had already...

You people on Ford Barn need to be told "Thank You" so that you know someone appreciates all you do. A couple of years ago I needed a starter support bracket for my 39 Coupe. Low and behold some guy in Canada sends me one, no actually he sent me 2 of them and no charge whatsoever. He even...
