Roof "ballooning" while open trailering (!!)

It's not really a saving problem, more of a storage space issue. Garage is already maxed out, and doors are only 7', an enclosed wouldn't fit. I'm in a residential neighborhood lot, so no outbuildings, no room to store a trailer. I was towing with an open U-haul trailer. Haven't looked into...

Roof "ballooning" while open trailering (!!)

Exactly! And the more the roof bulges, the faster the air flow, the faster the air flow, the lower the pressure. The lower the pressure, the more the roof bulges. Lather, rinse, repeat. Hoping I can find some kind of workable cover for safely open trailering on the interstate. :confused...

Roof "ballooning" while open trailering (!!)

Open trailered my '31 Coupe to a car show in Iowa a couple weeks ago. Headed down 35W interstate at 70mph until I noticed the soft top roof starting to "bulge" and "balloon" at anything above 60mph. Tried to keep my speed down to 55mph the rest of the way, but I don't like travelling 15mph below...

Front brake pulsation - steel vs cast (??)

Had the manager at O'reilly's machine the drums. After re-install, it stops perfectly now, super smooth!

Front brake pulsation - steel vs cast (??)

Bought my 1st Model A couple weeks ago. Previous owner replaced the drums with new cast iron about 400 miles ago. I have put about about 20 miles on the car, began to notice a pulsating brake pedal and significant "surging" when coming to a gradual stop. Raised the front axle, and I can...

Broken light switch rod - How to repair?

I may have one of those for you, but it would be a bugger to ship. Do your ever get north to the Twin Cities?

Is this the correct jack for a Model A...?

Thanks Joe! That works for me! I'm not concerned about judging either. I got into the Model A virus for the people and fun. Although with that said, I "kinda" want to keep things "sorta stock appearing" but within reason and practical functionality, reliability, and safety.

Is this the correct jack for a Model A...?

I tried to "Google image" search, results were questionable. Seems to be in good shape, just want to make sure it's the correct one.

    Boxes of spare parts...??

Thanks for the tips and suggestions everyone! With the help from a member of the local Model A club, I pulled out a few parts to keep as spares and/or "travel backups". The rest are are going to Diastole for the Model A Coupe restoration he is leading with a Boy Scout troop in Tennessee. 7...

    Can you identify these tools...?

Thanks for the tips! ;) I highly doubt I'll ever use these, will be donating to the local Model A club (if they the don't already have them in their tool inventory).

    Boxes of spare parts...??

Along with the recent purchase of my '31 coupe, came boxes and boxes (and more boxes) of spare parts left over from the restoration. New parts, old parts, tools, manuals, books, etc. Many of the parts are brand new, still in unopened plastic bags. I plan on keeping the all the books and manuals...
