    Manifold Replacement

I developed an exhaust leak on the manifold. I am fortunate enough to have a new one available. So it is a complete replacement, intake and exhaust. The studs came out of the block on removal and the intake mounting bolts just sheard off. I ordered some new studs, but it seems that the...

Care and Feeding of Trico Vacuum Wipers

My wiper was not working, so I followed the lubrication advice and it is moving now. My question is: Is the wiper suposed to continuously move? I am having to push the rod in to move it one way, and pull to move it back. Is that the way it is designed?

I am looking for a 1928 cast bowl sediment rebuild kit or simply the screen filter. They are on national backorder from all the vendors I have checked. The car I rescued from storage filter was pretty rusted out and need replacement. If anyone has an extra it would really help me out.

    2nd Gear

So I finally got my '28 coupe titled, registered and legal for the road. I took it for it's first ride outside the parking lot. Just around town low speed. One thing I observered is second gear with a louder than usual whine. Also as it wound up it would push itself out of gear. I was just...

    Horn rod spider stuck

I just did this. You are correct nothing else holding it on. The spider might be hung up on the grove. Don't let it break lose and shoot across the garage.

    How much is too much

I found this girl in storage. It had been stored 30+ years. Through the knowledgebase here and some YouTube videos, I was able to get it running. It had a signifigant leak at the water pump. More knowledge gathering I learned how the waterpump worked. Previous owner had filled the whole cavity...
