    Unusual carburation on Flathead V8’s

Re: Unusual carburation on Flathead V8’s I've been running a 1958 Carter WCFB 4bbl on my 8ba for the last 75K miles. It sets on a Offy 4bbl intake. I put it and a MSD 8573 ready to run dizzy on the motor when I rebuilt it & have never had ANY problems.

    8BA block concern

Why don't you get it out & DRIVE it for a while every day for a month & see if it changes. I think you have condensation based on the short time you run it.

    Manual to Power Steering Conversion

I just had a Borgeson box put in a 59 Edsel & it turned out pretty well. I'm using the 2 speed auto trans & stock y-block pump. We didn't think the stock column would work, but it did with some creative work by my buddy Keith. Also, I have a Hurst Indy 3 speed shifter that will probably work...

    T5- From 59 to 8BA

I'm running a 93 wc t5 in my 49 with the stock steel bell & a home made 3/4" thick aluminum adapter plate. Works great & i have about 54k on it now. I did have to sleeve the throwout bearing to fit the front shaft & make a bracket to hang the clutch pivot. Also pressed an s10 pilot bushing into...

I'm running a set from Shoebox Ford & they both work. I can see from the right side well & it stays adjusted unless someone bumps it. I think the same mirrors can now be found at Shoebox-central.com http://shoebox-central.com/. Also, I mounted mine on the vertical part of the door just in...
