    Y block no fuel

Well, the fuel issue is solved. I feel like a bit of a bonehead, but sometimes I am! It would appear that the previous owner had the fuel pump hooked up backwards, and as a result, so did I. I was in bed doing some research on Y blocks last night when I noticed how the fuel pump was hooked...

    Y block no fuel

Hey guys, I posted this over on the HAMB, but thought it would be wise to ask here as well. I'm messing with a Y block for the first time. Trying to get it fired up, but I have no fuel getting to the carb. The vehicle is a '64 F100 with what I believe to be the factory 292 Y block. I put new...

    Lever shock rebuild parts

Hey guys, I've got these shocks I'm planning on using on a current project. It is my understanding that these shocks were used from'38-'48. I've found info on rebuilding, but not any info on where you can get parts and/or seals. Please understand, I am not looking for a rebuilding service, I am...

    Primer paint?

I'll be using SPI epoxy primer pretty soon on an OT project. It was recommended to me by a high end painter who uses a lot of PPG products. It's priced well too.

Anybody want a new friction tip for their vacuum brake?

I checked the friction disc on the extra distributor I have for my '37 engine, and it is indeed 5/8" diameter. I'm in for a couple.

    V12 Engine Problems

Is it stock intake? We had a situation with an aftermarket intake where it didn't have heat risers in the intake, but it also didn't block them off at the block. We didn't notice that till we had excessive smoke.

    Black oil quick

Stock intake? I came across a situation recently where an aftermarket intake didn't have an exhaust crossover, but also nothing to block it off, so if you didn't block the ports in the block, it would put exhaust in the valley, which would make the oil black, among other issues.

    1940 Mercury frame

I've got a 1940 Mercury frame for sale. It's in great shape. The only issues are some damage to the center of the rear crossmember, and a little rust in the passenger frame rail where the rear of the X-member meets the frame rail.

    Momentary Toggle Switch

You could also look at McMasterCarr. you won't be able to handle it before buying, but they have a lot of info on the switches, along with drawings showing dimensions.

How to remove pilot bearing? '47 59A engine

I had the same issue on an off topic engine. Puller wouldn't fit, but did the grease trick. Next time I had to do it, I did bread because it sounded so weird, I had to try it. Sure enough, worked like a charm, and was much easier to clean up then the grease.
