Thanks for giving me your input. I climbed under the dash and found out it ALREADY has an aftermarket wiring harness in it. I guess I ill have to figure out the circuit wiring colors on my own. I JUST bought the car on 3/24 and am trying to get familiar with things on it. I am a retired...

Honest and open are what I live by. I DID finally get a hold of the guy that was selling the Gauges I wanted and he will be shipping them to me on Monday or Tuesday. I thanked him profusely for giving me a good deal on them and appreciate THIS site for the info I need.....

Thanks Paul! I am led to believe IF my car has the "stock" '49 rear axle then it has 3.73 to 1 OR 4.10 to 1 gears in it from the factory. Have YOU found this to be true?

If THAT is your car in the picture to the left, would you mind taking a tape measure and letting me know the height of the window opening is at the flat part of the front of the door glass to the bottom of the door glass opening and do the same to the rear Quarter window from the "B" Pillar...
