Been there done this...... use Berts tubes and you wont be sorry. They have the best available tubes.

I wash mine like I do my F250, no problems. Wax it once a year and drive it a lot !

I just bought and installed a set and am very pleased. Good workmanship ! I had the bearings and studs installed by Mel and Randy, got the shoes there too. You won't go wrong with these. It's nice to have good brakes !!!!

Southside A's (Georgia) had a great tour to one of our members farm in Milner. Ga. A lot of A's, vintage planes, good company and good Bar-b-que. Weather was perfect, it doesn't get better than this !

I had one for a short time. Biggest gripe was lube running from the BW down into the differential. It slung out onto the rear wheels after quickly overfilling the diff. It was old needed some work and cranky to use but helped flat land cruising. Just too many issues and problems overall...

There are no tubes (19 inch) for model A's made in the USA. I've searched and searched. I had 4 flats in 10 days, all in my shop, all with new tubes !! I bought from 3 different vendors. Been through 7 tubes ! Finally, Berts (with a warning) had some Chinese tubes that have lasted a little over...

I agree with the safety comments. Tank removal - repair is a lot of work, expensive and can mean more painting than you would like. A fire is more expensive, more work and even more painting if you are around to do it.

I'm running 19" Lesters and have been happy with them. According to the Lester website they are made in the USA. ;) Ride good and are wearing good.

Bob has my vote, if you don't let the Dog go now and then you miss half the fun. I like my Dog better than a lot of people I come in contact with !

I'm a 3, bring it on, I'll learn it if I don't know it. Lot's I don't know but I'm not afraid to learn, sometimes the hard way.
