Thanks for the feedback Rev ! I did check out your You Tube video on fitting a set of Scrub pipes to a Y Block. I know there are "kits" to build your own. I may have to go that route. I would have thought someone back in the day would have built a competition set - guess not. Om2

All of the 1957 y block engines used the new style centrifical and vaccum advance distributors.The Load"O"Matic was retired after its one year 1956 useage.

Cant find anyone making under chassis (real) headers for a Y Block in a 57 Ford body. Any suggestions ?? Dont want those shorty things.Want real competion units. Suggestions ? OM2

Miker The T Bird replacements are as original factory units and proper for restoration. Passenger car tanks will fit on Baby Birds but the plumbing is a bit different

Building another 312 that is pretty much stock. Thinking about having the stock camshaft reground BUT with higher lift on intake and exhaust. Can go as hi as .300 lift before having to worry about things running into each other. What do you guys think of this approach? Not interested in...
