Re: Installing Lebanon Bonney ‘28 roadster top You do need those instructions. I don't think I have my old ones. You will need stainless steel staples so there's no rust, and a powerful staple gun. There is a good Synders youtube video of installation. Good luck. I'm sure it will look nice.

You are about to have a lot of fun with that car. Get it running and safe, and drive it. The cosmetics can come later. You will get a lot of help from a lot of people. join a local club if you can. A lot of help there. Drive it and have fun. It's hard to hurt these old cars.

Sure. Take it out and see what is happening. Easy fix.

The coolant should find it's way into your oil pan. Should show high on the stick. Keep an eye on it.

Put it in third gear and push the car backwards. If it won't go back, push harder.

The rubbing block on the points is probably melted. Easy to check.

If you know an older model a owner who always ran just water in the summer, make sure they get protected from freezing up. Some people just don’t feel like going out into the garage and have a lot of other things going on. It’s very easy to forget as health problems come along. One of our...

Put the car in third and push it backwards until you hear a loud pop and it should be ok.

Here is a video of one of our tours down into the Amish country in Ohio. One of our members had a manifold leak and this will show you how one sounds. The video is long, but the noise is shown fairly early and the repair in near the middle. https://youtu.be/ZRq_Rb2Ojp0

Sure sounds like you need a new exhaust manifold gasket.

Your clutch lever arm probably failed. It's common. Take a peek under.

Use the flat stamped steel tool. Stay with it. It will come off.

Let us know how you make out. Most of us have or had this problem.

Tough job. You might find a shop that would do it. The problem with the A radiator is that a lot more wants to come apart when you are taking the top tank off. If you still want to try it yourself, try just removing the bottom tank and rod it from there. A long transmission dip stick fits the...

Next time you get it warm, take the cap off and lug it in third gear. If you see bubbles, it is your head gasket or worse. Good luck.

Your tapers don’t match. Tightening the nut does nothing. Get a new fan that fits tightly on the shaft and matches the shaft taper. Don’t run you fan belt tight. As loose as possible that will still run your generator. A tight belt will hammer out the taper on the fan hub. Or, get some shim...

Drive a nail into the crimp between the wires of the cable and the negative battery connector. Corrosion can get in there and fool you. Either crimp it a lot more or use the nail trick.

My opinion: Big job because you have to put in a new worm gear along with a new sector. The wear is on the worm, on center and you can't adjust it out. Good luck.

A tiny piece of shim stock. You just want to keep it from rotating.
