The engine number is AA820148 and is clear, i could not find a assembly code on the body but i did look at the starter and speedo for dates. The starter is from April 1930? maybe a replacement?? The speedo dates to Nov 1928, which sounds right

I was refering to the frame number and the body date

Also in the pic of the engine number on the frame is a 6 digit number not 5, the last two numbers are stamped on top of each other. Who ever was stamping stuff at ford wasnt doing a good job :P

Ok i found the engine number on the frame and it matches the engine. Also when i got the truck it was complete, the body was bolted to the frame with the correct type bolts.

Mark, it has a worm gear rear end if thats what u were getting at... Also the distributor body is red like the steering wheel, i have never seen this before?
